Dr. Thomas Kouo is a sought-after practitioner and educator having spent decades treating and educating in areas such as ob/gynecology, pediatrics, sports medicine and pain, immunology, herbal medicine, and mental health. He currently serves as the Institutional Vice-President for Academic Affairs and New Jersey Campus Director for the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM). He is a lecturer on many topics in acupuncture / herbal medicine, and teaches in several Doctoral programs around the country. He has served as a long-time accreditation site visitor for ACAHM. Dr. Kouo is the current President for the Council of Colleges for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (CCAHM) and serves on the New Jersey Acupuncture State Association (NJAS).
