As an older adult in my 30's, I felt that western medicine school was a little bit too late to just go in. And I found VUIM and Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine very accessible. I felt that I could be impacting people in a way that western medicine can't. Working alongside the staff, faculty, and supervisors has been an absolute joy.
