Chad Egresi, MPA
Vice President of Enrollment Management
President and Professor, VUIM
Chad Egresi, MPA is a higher education executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience in enrollment management, institutional strategy, accreditation, regulatory compliance, student success, and organizational transformation. As Vice President of Enrollment Management at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM), he provides executive leadership for admissions, financial aid, registration, accessibility services, institutional effectiveness, and student-facing administrative operations across the university's multi-campus system.
Working closely with executive leadership and the Board of Trustees, he has led significant institutional growth initiatives, including increasing enrollment from approximately 280 to more than 500 students with a focus on revenue growth. He has also directed comprehensive strategic planning, accreditation, state authorization, and operational modernization efforts that have strengthened institutional effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
Prior to joining VUIM, Chad held progressively senior executive leadership positions at Maryland University of Integrative Health, where he oversaw graduate admissions, enrollment strategy, registrar operations, disability services, academic advising, and financial aid administration. During his tenure, the university achieved 132 percent enrollment growth, a 78 percent enrollment yield rate, and significant improvements in student retention while implementing its first Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and modernizing enrollment operations through various tools, including Salesforce CRM.
Earlier in his career, he served in enrollment leadership roles at South University and Argosy University and founded SEMops Consulting Services, providing strategic enrollment consulting and organizational assessments for colleges and universities. Throughout his career, Chad has become recognized for aligning enrollment strategy with institutional mission, building high-performing teams, modernizing administrative systems, and guiding institutions through periods of growth and organizational change.
Chad holds a Master of Public Administration from South University and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Middle East Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He is a member of AACRAO, NAGAP, NACADA, AHEAD, and ACAHM and has extensive experience working with governing boards, accrediting agencies, and state and federal regulatory bodies. In addition to his executive leadership responsibilities, he is a frequent advocate for student success, access to higher education, and the advancement of integrative medicine education, regularly contributing thought leadership through university publications and professional engagement. Outside of his professional work, Chad enjoys hiking and camping with his family and has completed more than 400 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
